- 1/8 tsp. pepper
Directions
In a shallow bowl, combine flour & pepper. Cut beef into serving size pieces; roll in flour mixture to coat. Remove meat; pound with a mallet to tenderize. Pour milk into another shallow bowl. Heat oil in a skillet. Dip meat into milk, then coat again in flour mixture. Fry, covered, in hot oil 10 minutes. turn; cook 10 minutes longer. remove and keep warm. Four gravy, add water to skillet; Stir to loosen browned bits from pan. In a small bowl, combine flour, milk, and pepper until smooth. Stir into skillet. bring to a boil; cook and stir until thickened.
